Tiny Space, Massive Flavors: How the Vulcan Minijet™ is Changing the Game

Space is a luxury these days, especially in the food industry. Rising rents and constantly evolving consumer tastes are pushing us toward smaller, more efficient workspaces. From micro-restaurants and food trucks to bistros, cafes, and even ghost kitchens, operators are seeking ways to maximize their space, and the Vulcan Minijet™ Combi Oven offers the perfect solution.

Designed to fit even the most compact areas, the Vulcan Minijet™ Combi boasts all the functionalities of a full-size combi oven (convection, steaming, and combination cooking) in its compact design. At a width of only 21 inches, the Minijet™ can fit into the tightest spaces, make it a double stack, and add an optional hood, the possibilities are truly endless.

A small footprint is not the only thing the Minijet™ has to offer when making the most of your limited space. The Minijet™ embodies Vulcan’s customer-back-innovation by offering a unique rear design with recessed utilities allowing for flush placement against the wall.

The Minijet™ not only accommodates half-sheet trays (four 12″ x 20″ x 2.5″ or six 12″ x 20″ x 1″) but also keeps up with the needs of your operation. Need to switch things up on your menu? The Minijet™ has got your back with a plethora of accessories and customizable options. Fry Baskets facilitate perfect browning with their enhanced airflow and also function excellently as a sous vide for the tenderest proteins. Grill pans and grates are ideal for achieving perfect cross marks and sears. Eggs Pans for the perfectly cooked eggs, great for any coffee shop or cafe looking to add the convenience of a “grab and go” counter. Whatever the menu demands, the Minijet™ can adapt to the needs of the operation.

With just a touch of the screen or a scroll of the knob, kitchen professionals and chefs are welcomed by Vulcan’s ABC display. Its patented technology allows the ABC mode to automatically control humidity based on the selected cooking temperature, ensuring menu items are cooked to perfection no matter the skill of the user. For seasoned chefs’ control is within reach with JET mode, which allows for humidity, temperature, and fan control for precision cooking.

Tiny kitchens have met their match with the Vulcan Minijet™. This little powerhouse is all about doing more with less, fitting into snug spaces while throwing down just about any cooking method you need.
